About the Doula
Kira Wray, CCD, CVD(TVL)
Kira’s journey into birth work began with her own experience of becoming a mother. After welcoming her oldest daughter by cesarean in 2007, she felt a quiet pull to learn more about pregnancy and childbirth. While that birth didn’t unfold as she had envisioned, it became the catalyst that gently reshaped her understanding of birth and ignited a deep desire to educate herself and trust her body. Three years later, Kira experienced the empowering home VBAC of her son, followed by the homebirth of her second daughter two years after that. These transformative experiences planted the seed that would eventually grow into her calling to serve women and families as a doula.
Kira and her husband, Andrew, are the proud parents of three children here on Earth and hold close the love of three saints in Heaven. This balance of joy, loss, and reverence deeply informs the compassion she brings into every birth space. When she’s not supporting families, Kira can be found crocheting, reading, caring for her chickens, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, soaking up time with her family, or enthusiastically learning about anything that sparks her curiosity.
She believes birth is sacred, powerful, and deeply personal—and it’s an honor she never takes lightly to walk alongside mothers as they discover their own strength.

Congratulations on this beautiful and sacred season. Pregnancy is filled with wonder and anticipation, and it can also feel tender and overwhelming at times. Even with a loving partner and supportive family, there is something deeply comforting about having another woman walk alongside you—someone who listens with care, understands without judgment, and offers steady, gentle support as you prepare to welcome your baby.
A doula’s role is to serve with compassion and humility—sharing thoughtful resources, supporting you as you advocate for yourself, and offering physical, emotional, and spiritual care throughout pregnancy and birth. My hope is to help create a peaceful, grounded space where you feel seen, supported, and confident as you bring your baby into the world, trusting the design and timing God has for your family.
